     Deep, Rich & Dried Fruits     

Devoid of a map, or any notion of destination, we followed our noses through a sensory labyrinth:

Rum and raisin fudge: Sweet and indulgent.
Old yet soft leather: A touch of nostalgia.
Seasoned logs from a eucalyptus tree: Earthy and woody.
As we turned a corner, a wondrous route unfolded:

Orange chocolate: Zesty and rich.
Cinnamon swirls: Warm and comforting.
Fennel seeds on singed currants: Spicy and intriguing.
Adding a dash of water revealed hidden treasures:

Butterscotch sweets buried under autumn leaves: Sweetness with an earthy twist.
Fragrant tobacco leaves laced with lemon zest: Aromatic and citrusy.
Finally, breaking through a barrier of biscuits, we arrived at our destination:

Peaches, plums, and stewed red fruits in a pool of thick double cream: A luscious finale.
